Renovation of an office building
Not far from the Montgomery roundabout in Brussels, asbestos has beeen removed from an 800 m² office building inside a block, which has then been demolished, leaving only its basic structure. To avoid excessive weight, a metal frame is used as the structure for new workspaces. The offices are finished, including the technical rooms, lift and the toilets. A green roof covers the entire building. Taking advantage of this work, the rear façade of the main street-side building has been completely renovated. More than 2,700 m² have been fitted with insulation, then plastered and 360 new window frames.
