The 7e Art
Construction of an apartment building
The former Multiscope Palace cinema in Tournai city centre had become an eyesore after remaining closed for more than ten years. It was demolished to give way to the 7th Art project which involved the construction of a 48-apartment residence on four floors and an underground car park.
To fit in with the hues of the nearby cathedral, the façades are in grey brick and the roof is made of zinc. The apartments, ranging from 55m² studios to the 230m² penthouse, are finished to high standards. The project’s main design feature is its central courtyard containing a natural swimming pool. Most apartments also have a large balcony. The 7th Art project includes a digital concierge and an underground car park with spaces for cars and bicycles.
