The fact that, back in 1931, Entreprises Blaton-Aubert, CIT Blaton's ancestor, built the legendary Citroën garage located on Place de l'Yser in Brussels is worth noting. The current renovation contract amounts to € 105 million and covers structural work, frameworks, roofs, façades, stability, special techniques and finishes. The project's total floor area is close to 45,000 m2. Work started at the end of 2021 and the completion of structural work is scheduled for early 2024.

This renovation project will allow the KANAL - Centre Pompidou Museum to house, among other things, approximately 15,000 m2 of multipurpose indoor public spaces accessible to all and intended for culture, recreation, entertainment, education or meetings, 12,500 m2 of exhibition spaces dedicated to modern and contemporary art as well as architecture, a public library, archives for the CIVA Foundation, as well as 1,500 m2 of workshop spaces.
