The creation of a world premiere ride called PULSAR was a real challenge for the Walibi amusement park. CIT Blaton’s mission consisted in carrying out all the preparatory works for the installation of the new ride by German engineers. These works involved the installation of a dyke using 5,000 tonnes of stones and draining part of the lake of the park, as well as the construction of foundations in marshy grounds to support 700 tonnes of tracks. At the end of the works, the roller coaster was installed and bolted with a high level of accurancy onto the structure erected by CIT Blaton – a real technical, logistical and technological challenge, which CIT Blaton met hands down.

By way of reminder, thrill seekers, conveyed in 10 tonne boats, rise up to a heigh of 45 m in three gradual launches to race down the ramp at 100 km/hour thanks to three electromagnetic pulses and finally brake suddenly in water, thus creating a huge splash. The trip ride lasts 70 seconds.
