Gare SNCB - Ottignies

Every weekday, more than 400 trains pass through Ottignies station to take more than 22,000 passengers to Brussels, Leuven, Namur and Liège.

CIT Blaton, in association with Artes, will carry out major infrastructure and development works in order to make the place more pleasant and efficient.

This project will be carried out in 2 phases:

The contract essentially consists of:

• Construction of the main footbridge connecting all the platforms to the main access (city centre and bus station), the Plateau des Villas and the Limelette district.
• Creation of access from the main and secondary walkways to the platforms (stairs, elevators, escalators)
• Installation of the canopy (at line 161) of the main and secondary footbridges, as well as part of the platforms
• Construction of bicycle storage at the entrances to the main footbridge, on the Limelette and Villas sides

In addition, the following projects will also be carried out

• A double N5-N6 platform by renovating the access from this platform to the metal footbridge and the CSV
• The platforms of the future N4-N5-N6 tracks 
• Extension of the secondary footbridge with two new spans
