As part of the Design-Build-Finance-Maintenance (DBFM) competitive dialogue procedure initiated by the city of Brussels and Brussels-Capital Region for the NEO2 project on the Heysel plateau, the consortium, made up of the companies CIT Blaton - Willemen - Louis De Waele - jan De Nul and partnering with the Danish architecture firms Henning Larsen and 3xN and Belgian firm A2RC, was ranked in second place for the construction of a multi-event convention centre with seating for up to 5,000 participants, as well as a 250-room 4-star hotel.
