The SNCB (Belgian Rail) is getting a new maintenance workshop at Arlon station. This 4,000 m² building in fact consists of two buildings: a workshop and an adjoining 3-level structure (ground floor +2) which houses the administrative services. Three 120-metre tracks are intended for the maintenance of the new Désiro® passenger trains. A special feature: the architect of the SNCB wanted to give a trainlike design to the façade lining. It is also worth noting that the CBL teams carried out all the structural works.
