Image
The extension of the Orval brewery is a magnificent half-buried industrial building rising on three levels. It blends very naturally into the existing hillside, separating the cheese factory from the local road.
The building is made of a concrete structure based on a raft foundation. It fits seamlessly into its surroundings thanks to its roof-top garden, its façades stapled with local stone and its rubble stone masonry and wood cladding. The site is intended for pallet storage prior to shipment and includes a small office area.
